Have been waiting for my dying kit to arrive from liquid leather and i have a few days off and it arrived aptly this morning.
Removed the seats and stripped them to there bare bones and had a blast at dying.
Its been a long day cleaning, filling, masking and dying.
As i wanted two colours most of the time was taken masking have one completed and one one colour done on the second.

Cuffed to bits with the results have the subframes to refit and heated seat wires to locate as my switches have arrived too.
Door card inserts will be dyed will add pics as it comes together

Thanks Tony. will certainly give the zed a different look as said really pleased with the results. Will finish the other seat tomorrow and get the heated seat wiring located and then finish off the door cards.

Must admit neither was i a few years ago i wouldn't have touched a car with a tan /beige interior used to think is an old colour.
Must be my age i think getting old too!
Wanted something very close to the original the dark is more or less spot on for the original colour and the light is oregon beige which again is the stock colour for the car although its light but i think after 18 years it may have darkened.

Yeah really pleased the colours turned out as i hoped will be nice to see it back in the car its going to quite a transformation as its a lot lighter than what was there.
Arm rest and gaitersand door card centres to go the light shade i think will know more when its dat back in the car

Lol yeah home alone but i did do them in the garage but as its water based i wanted some where warm for them over night.
I did dye the other seat in there this morning but its all by hand but im back in the garage having just finished up the door cards.

I have dye enough for bolsters etc and i have 250 ml of Sand beige im not gonna use at all it looks very similar and is one of the colours listed for the car but decided on dark beige and oregan beige.

As an odea 250ml has dyed the door card centres the gaiters arm rest and the seat centres and i still have some left so it goes a fair way even further if you spray it as it gets watered down but coverage is great.
