Hi Everyone 👍 had these pop up. The fault seems intermittent and has been and gone a few times over the past few months.

I've seen these can be isolated to a fault with the ABS module.

Anyone had a recent repair done on these either them selves or by a repair company?

Does anyone know the part number of the ABS module for a 3.0 2002 Z3. The module looks to be quite inaccessible without removing the whole pump etc.

Thanks

There are several issues there that can bring up the DSC light. Clear the codes and see what comes back the next time the DSC light comes up.

You need to get the ABS module part numbers off of the unit. There will be a part number for the whole beasty in RealOEM, but you only use that to buy from BMW. When you go shopping for a second hand you need the parts numbers off of your ABS pump and the ABS electronic module. These numbers are what people advertise the secondhand modules under.

You may not have to replace the module. Chip away at the things that bring the light up one at a time.

I agree with @Murray Wall but our problem kept coming back.....pressure sensor 2 is the pressure switch on the master cylinder, the one nearest the engine not the servo. System voltage ended up being the yaw sensor........lift carpet on passenger side and you will see the yaw sensor, could be wet there if you have a leak. The steering angle was set via INPA and the wheel speed sensor speaks for itself. If you have the blue ended one, BMW is the best place for them.....tried ebay etc. but kept sending wrong ones!
