Hi All, I am replaceing the viscous fan on my 2.0Ltl zed with an electric fan. My old M44 powered car had an electric fan as standard & the 2.0ltr radiator looks like it has a hole in the same place for the temp sensor/switch so this is what I would like to use. Does anyone have any info on what temp the 2.0ltr runs at & at what point on/off the fan should cut in/out. I have an infra red temp gun and it seems to run at around 94C at the top hose. Could I use a M44 sensor?
PS I'm changing the fan because it doesn't engage, even after some pressing on, it looks like a new set of blades has been fitted a little while ago too. there is no sign of overheating even with the present fan not working.
