I must’ve looked at every Z3 for sale on autotrader, eBay, pistonheads, gumtree and Facebook this weekend. Multiple times.

so many options! Paralysed by choice!

Think I’ve settled on a first choice of Blue with light leather interior (cream, beige, champagne). And given my budget of 3-4k, probably looking at a 2 or 2.2L.

This one looks to fit the bill pretty well: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293896831739
Although seems slightly expensive for the number of miles than many others available.

Is now a good time to mention I’ve never bought a second hand car before? Nervous!!

Don't worry about the mileage, the 6 cylinder is a strong engine as long as its been looked after, its all about the condition and history.

Looks very nice on top so before pulling the trigger get undernrath it to see what condition the underside is in pay particular attention to the trailing arms and general condition of all the other suspension front and rear. Check out the outer sill covers for any signs of rust. At 99k miles its top end pricing for the age of the car I would want to pay less.
