Hello all
I have just ordered a 1997 Z3 1.9 4cyl from Japan..........I totally enjoy iconic vehicles and have always liked the Z3. I actually bought this particular vehicle as it is in excellent condition, only has 45 000 km (28 000 miles) on the clock and makes good sense as an entry into Z3 ownership. The vehicle will be used at high altitude in Johannesburg South Africa and I was wondering if any of the forum members could give me an indication of what it might be like to drive in terms of performance and driving pleasure.
I am not expecting blistering performance and as I currently drive a Land Rover Defender almost anything will be "fast" by comparison.
Regards
Andrew

to the forum from West Cumbria, England. The smiles per gallon are endless with a decent performance that compares well with the MX5, MGF and alike. Better looking though IMHO
