Speakers / Sub / Amp install - who / where?

id love to have some better speakers and a sub and amp installed in my Z3. Have seen some great examples of people installing themselves and building their own sub enclosures etc but it’s not something I could do.

can anyone recommend somewhere that could do this - ideally around Leeds? Google isn’t bringing much up. I feel it needs somebody who knows z3‘s as much of it appears bespoke rather than a simple swap of speakers etc.

wondering if there’s maybe anyone on this forum that could do it?

Generally most car audio companies are pretty good, they do this kind of stuff everyday.

I'd be interested how you get on and what kind of budget you spend on this as I will do something similar once my build is finished.

If you can find a breaker with the HK audio upgrade, I'd *strongly* recommend stripping that & retro fitting into your own car.
It's a really good bit of kit - despite it's age the HK in my 1999 Z3 Coupe outperforms the HK in my last 2017 AMG.

i thought the Harmon Kardom sub was awful on the Z3?

It's pretty amazing in mine - mind I have a coupe.
Think it's the same actual speaker though - just in a different shape enclosure?
