Do you think I could get a good Z4 for <£5000

If you warm the fly eye with a hairdryer it'll peel off. If there is any residue left it can be broken down by WD40 which doesn't harm the plastic or paint.
Awesome cheers!
Atleast with it removed I'll be able to see at night!

Connor.

Mine wasnt left in long enough to bond that we'll.
Ahhhh, well we will see. Just read somewhere about it damaging the lense? Something about melting the pattern onto the light. Hopefully all will be fine.

If it does you can polish out with a rotary and small polishing pad

Thats good news Billz.
I can't believe the fuel consumption was as low as I got, I bet your Si is even better!

Connor.

We get around 28 when Kim just uses it to go to work and back 7 miles each way but get around 32 on runs. On Euro trips with Mozz he kept moaning how much more he put in compared to me think it was around 10%

You can't ask for more on a 3.0 sports car! I was a bit anxious as to the economy, but to know that it could get 37mpg just by cruising in 6th made my day. It's the flexibility of the engine that impresses me. 0-60 in under 6 seconds, and 37 mpg? (not at the same time though obviously) but still its amazing.

An aerosol of brake cleaner is a handy
Does the film leave a lot of residue when you remove it Gaz? Wanting gone asap but got nothing around the house to remove the sticky stuff if there is any.

Cheers,

Connor.
An aerosol of brake cleaner is a handy thing to have around, that will remove sticky stuff plus 101 other uses.
My wheels that are going on are 108's, split rims.

Tony.

No way! great minds think alike @t-tony

Just been out for a drive and it was fine when set off, half way back the exhaust started making a horrendous noise so I feel like it's blowing. Started it up again and now it's fine...
Confused is an understatement.

Connor

Yes I'm hoping something like that instead of exhaust, I'm going to call the local BMW specialists tomorrow to give it The once over

Connor.

Booked into quarry motors for Thursday, the guy said it could be cracked manifold :(

Let's hope not
Connor.

If there was a cracked manifold I would have expected the engine management light to come on as well! I would also expect the noise to be noticeable all of the time, not intermittent. But cheer up there are lots of manifolds around for 3L engines at a quite reasonable price.

Mike

Hopefully it'll be good news, the engine management light hasn't come on, and like I say everything is fine until I've been driving for 10-15 minutes.
I'll expect the worst and if it's something simple it's a bonus

Believe it or not I had the same problem last week, going down the dual carriage way, an awful noise began, and would not go away no matter how I tried accelerated decelerated but the noise was constant sounded like the exhaust had fallen off,I was about to pull up and switched the heater fan off, noise disappeared, it was an air vent making all the noise thought my car was about to blow up.
