Had the passenger door off to do a few jobs. Refitted it fine but it now will not open, firmly stuck closed.
Divers door ie working fine so have access and lowered the roof.
With the ignition key in (so it shouldn't be deadlocked) you can hear the lock solenoid moving when pulling up the door locking pin, you can also hear it move using the key fob.
With the door lock pin up, one person on the inside using the door opener and another outside opening the door handle, the door still will not open.
Was working earlier in the day, has anyone got any ideas?

Can you feel resistance when lifting the handle on the outside?

I changed the door solenoid once and didn't get the outside handle lined up correctly when putting the lock back in. The lock pin was under the handle instead of in it. Could not lift the lock up enough to release even pushing internally. Had the door card off and after a very long angry time I got it open.

Or could possibly be the door alignment if you've had the whole door off?

Might need a lift and push from the inside or a push from the outside to release while trying the door handle at the same time

Edit* sorry reason being it might be stuck on the catch in the door shut

Resistance felt when trying to open from outside or inside. Door aligned correctly as the hinges were just lifted rather than being removed.

It would appear that the actuator fitted to the door lock has deadlocked the door. I have another door lock assembly on the bench but am unsure what deadlocks it.
