Forum Images.

I can’t either.
 
As a brief update, we are working on this in the background. There are 2 lines we are working along, one which is a permissions/configuration issue. The other is that the forum is overdue some software updates (I'm just pricing that up right now). It may be that as various devices - both Android and Apple - are progressing we've hit a bug or two! This is partly why we're asking what devices and how you are uploading images to help drill down.

There is of course it's a combination of these 2 things, but it's hard to diagnose an issue when you aren't on the latest version!

I'm using a new HP 15-fc0537sa Laptop with Windows 11 installed with which I cannot access some of the photos in recent posts like "visit to Z Shed". However if I access the same posts on my iPhone 11 I can see them OK. Hope that helps.
 
I'm not a techy I'm afraid but posted off my Samsung Android phone.

I did do an experiment today to test if it was an upload problem
  • Insert Image ~ drop image in
  • Insert image ~ "click here" to load from your drive
  • Select an image, then Copy & Paste
  • Insert image via hosted elsewhere
All my images uploaded successfully (Mac running Tahoe 26.4.1)

I'm not seeing a cause, but if I think of anything else I'll give it a try

I could see my POTM post last week but cant this week, so was fine at the time of posting. I drop image in

Assumption is that it's all images which are uploaded or pasted in to a post, rather than linked to an outside source. Assumption until someone says they can't see one that's linked of course!

I believe it's also images which are inserted in to a post or article, the Media Gallery isn't affected.
 
Just to complicate manners the first post in Visit to Z shed with all the photos which I still cannot see on my laptop, I now cannot see them on my iPhone although I could see them this afternoon. Very strange.
 
Shawn, your 2 pics in the Have a chuckle thread arent showing for me, but the 2 after are. HTH

Now I can see them again, very spooky.👻
 
Not had a problem until today, now some are disappearing. :whistle:
 
In the short term while we get the image problem sorted I think a possible workaround is to upload the image to media gallery, then you can link it directly in to the thread using the [ IMG ] tag. I don’t believe anyone has reported any issues with the media gallery as yet - but would be a good test…
 
No problems at this end, all the photos in this thread are visable.
