Well... Turns out the split hose was negligible as I had a broken front spring (suspiciously) so failed my MOT along with something else I thought was weird... The indicator being slightly the "wrong" colour due to an old bulb! And I thought a working winker was good enough!?
So now it's £134 for a single bmw spring x 2 if the other one is same age... I had planned on fitting the seemingly popular eibachs with bilsteins in the future but this is making things tricky at the moment.
I could just go for a cheap single £40 spring and enjoy some motoring or wait until I'm ready to upgrade suspension all round... The current oem shocks and springs on the rear don't look to be the originals so it just adds to the dilemma..I somehow feel like I might end up doing the same job twice
