Hi All,

I'm tying to remove this grommet. As the sidelight bulb holder is still there (same as pre facelift 1.9)

My bumper the previous person smoothed out the facelift sidelights. So I need to retrofit them to the headlights.

Another thread suggested using a heat gun / pliers. I have attempted this and messed it up. Have ordered another headlight and need some suggestions.

Kind regards

I have done this twice now to 2 different zeds

2nd time was on my Orinoco above who's headlight would be difficult to obtain and expensive to replace

Dont have pictures but can tell you how i did it both times.
What i did is heat a knife blade up and carefully cut it off when had majority off used a sanding bit on my cordless drill to flatten down the last bits
A very early light will have the hole already there.

Stephen.

Dad managed to save the day using a drill and drillbit. Then using a flathead small screwdriver to remove the edges and revealing where the slots are to twist/turn. Now a snug perfect fit.

I will just need the wiring/plug from prefacelift and join them or can I use the existing facelift ones?
