My Dad once owned a Z3 M Roadster and he let the car go a long time ago
He is a lot older now (80 next year) and he still talks often about how much he loved his car.
I googled the car first and by complete chance i also put the reg in and it came up on an auction listing from 2020.
I will not divulge the reg but the car appears like it is still around and has really low miles still.
My Dad loved this car despite he struggled to get in an out of it.
It was a 98 Silver M originally bought from Phrophets BMW in Solihull and at the time our family business was doing well and Dad had never spent a lot of money on a car and we probably pushed him into a bit because it did look incredible . I think i would of been 25 at the time and i was so proud as he had worked so hard for this.
We even managed to sneak the car out of his garage to get it back to Phrophets for them to fit the Hard Top which took longer than we thought but was funny at the time as we got it back home and into his garage on Christmas Eve so on Christmas Day we revealed his car with the Hard top fitted.
He left the hard top on most of the time as he felt a bit concious with the roof down but that's my Dad.
Eventually he sold it and to this day its a standing family joke that if he treats us to meal out or a plant from the garden centre he always says its the BMW money !
Based on how long he has been saying that i would say it was a sound investment lol.
So for him as he has not been too well lately im just trying to find old stuff as he likes to talk about what was his milestone of a car.
The pictures that i found online of his car truly show what an amazing car it was and whoever owns it now i can promise you my Dad really looked after that car !
