After realising that we wouldn't use the recently aquired h.t, I found a very good home for it.........

It's also a better colour shade match on @Antm72's car, mine is a bit darker than his.

I am glad that I scratched that particular itch, although I like the look, I didn't like driving with the lid on.
Garage space regained :). Surprising how much room these "little" hard tops take up.

Was good to see you again Ant .

Bought mine coming on for 5 years ago and it had the h/t already on, took it off as soon as the sun came out and it's not been on since. May have to buy another Z3 to fit it to, and save that one for rainy days. The h/t does look nice, but can't be ar5ed with putting it on/taking it off. Need a lottery win to afford a h/t handler.:)

If it's a daily driver parked in the open, a hardtop is fine. Z3lda isn't, so in my case a hard top would spoil the whole point of owning a Roadster!

That’s what I thought when I wanted a hardtop for my silver Z3. So bought a blue one with the intention of keeping the hardtop and selling the car on, well...... that was a couple of months ago and now my drive looks like this

2 Z3s and both with hardtops - his and hers =))

It's bugging me that the red one isn't perfectly center with the pillar !
Did they ever move from there are you going just brick them in and be done, too match nail biting to move them out again...

Best they sound nice all being revealed in that space at once...;)

Coupe is the most valuable hence most difficult to steal. Good skills @Mnbrennan ;) agree though, none centric is a killer :bashhead:

Hey bozzy I'm sorry to hear the hard top didn't work out for you , I'm sure you'll be able to fit more copper and shower trays in the garage now,I'm pleased it's gone to a good home ,and I'm sure ants more over the moon .
Jimmy.

This really is an itch I want to scratch but I just wouldn't use it, the car only comes out in the sun and that would be a waste, in fact if it had a hardtop on I wouldn't bother getting it out on sunny winter days.

Thanks Jimmy,it was simply just going to be sat in the garage, taking up space which seemed such a waste when someone else could enjoy it.

Liking the stance on @Antm72 's motor too....

And that red car - or the photographer has to move a little (feeling my OCD flaring up also)

What a neat garage though ! But sunny needs a respray ... to white :)
