Next one up!

@Redline , now, I know @Bozzy was casting envious glances towards your rear spoiler on my behalf but don't you send him out to a foreign land (Lincs.) armed with a jack and wheel brace! =))=))

Tony.
He looks shifty doesn't he? I'd keep the dogs hungry if I were you. =))

I learnt quickly. Use plenty of fluid and use the clay in straight not circular motion. Use clean areas of clay and fold it and compress it to get new clean bits. Warm it up if it's stiff.
You'll be amazed what it brings off and you can feel and hear it gathering up the contaminants off the paint. Have fun
I bought an extra bottle of the detail spray, so with the one in the box I should have plenty. Thank you guys.

Tony.

Bit more clarity in the paint Ian,
Going to look nice mate..View attachment 35580
That's looking fabulous.
I wish I could say I can't wait to see, but, that means I'd want to come back early from paradise - that's not going to happen;)
Great work :)

Can't believe the difference on the stitching
That paint looks like it's going to jump out too :)

Thanks for the update - been a hard day here - off out shortly for pre-dinner drinks ;)

That's going to look superb Russ.

Tony.

Top Job Russell its looking supurb  A lot of work has gone into that.

Thanks Ant,
It's a nice car to work on with gorgeous paint and a joy to see it coming to life. A bit like yours to be fair as your's is one of the best Z3s around for me, In it's general overall look your's is a top car mate.
Ian's Z4 is just nice to begin with. A few marks and scratches here and their but looked after and everything feels good about the car.
Looking forward to standing back at some point and saying to myself.

Yeah that's done....

Thanks for your nice comments.

Thank you for the nice comments too.

I understand the standing back and admiring what you have done , its where the satisfacton of any job comes.
Its a skill you have and i admire the work, i like to create and no better pleasure in anything than a great result from your own effort.

Bit more of an update Ian.
Lots of deep Random Deep Scratches on the bonnet mate. So don't be alarmed by the wet flatting.
It's the only way to go with the amount of RDS on it. I decided on wet flatting the RDS only, so as to keep as much original paint on the bonnet as possible.
I won't take the Lacquer down too much as if it ever needs polishing again there's not going to be much left so better this way.

Some pics, This is just the top quarter of the passenger side.....

I knew there were lots of scratches and I know you'll do all you can without causing future problems so no worries. Am expecting a few flaws to remain to some degree or other. It's going to be way better than it was which is the important thing. Cheers

Looking really good. Russel how about holding a training session to for us to come along and learn the correct way to use a machine polisher :whistle:
