Well everything has been working fine until now.... It has a SIGMA alarm fitted and I have 2 fobs.. I went to lock the car and nothing happened, but the key locks the car no problem.. So the small red light inside the car is not coming and I can't even start the car.. I have tried with both fobs and nothing, the lights on the fob come on when I press the button but nothing happens.. Any help would be great as this is the first time this has happened.... Please help:arghh:

It sounds like the immobiliser has stuck on. I take it you have ignition lights?

Possibly the car battery then? I'm no mechanic, I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along to help mate. Might be worth putting the battery on charge overnight and trying it in the morning. At least it will eliminate it if it's not the case.

Well when I was in the boot tonight putting the locking wheel nut back under the cover I noticed the battery had a green dot to say the battery was good..

No lights at all but interior light works and can turn side lights on

Think its immobiliser if battery was flat you would have no electrics but if your central locking interior light side lights and hazards all working bright there would be enough juice in the battery to bring the ignition lights on

The other thing is when it was working ... I pressed the button on key fob , it unlocked the car and you could get ignorant toon light and start the car, if you left it for more than 30 secs there would be no ignition lights until you pressed the button again then the ignition lights would come on and you could start the car... But now nothing

Only doing that cause it's on a timer that's ok. If you've not had the car long the first move got to be change the fob battery even though they are lighting up batteries could be too low to transmitt.
After that you will have to start tracing back looking for a power fuse
Depends how it's wired in . Mine has an immobiliser that's been disconnected but was looking at it when doing my footwell lighting and it's wired into all sorts going to try and remove it all this winter. Unfortunately without having the car in front of me can't be more helpful. With a bit of luck someone on here with a big of knowledge might be close enough to come give your zed a look over

Thanks... Well I just pulled the battery off and there is no green indicator... Put it on the charger and it is showing 0 volts... So I will leave it on charge tonight then try in the morning.. Just had the car a week but I suppose this is one of the many things I am going to find out about it ... Thanks again

Hopefully it's the battery a lot less of a headache to sort than an immobiliser fault. Fingers crossed that you put the battery back in and it fires up if it does go get the battery tested replace if faulty ir it'll just happen again . Did you leave the radio or anything on when you were doing your calipers ( which look very nice by the way)
