Ha, I'll get the first laugh, I'll get mine before you two young whippersnappers=))

Given that Stormy_be is reluctant to ship too the UK due to the cost involved is anybody interested in high quality fibreglass sills made in the UK at aroudd £180 a pair?

I would be but dependent on fit and finish.

Both mine are rusty and I've been looking for non metal replacements too

I'd absolutely make sure that the fit and finish were top class. The guys responsible are helping to build a new British supercar so I'm sure they are up to the job.

I'd be interested, Once these sill covers have started to bubble its an ongoing battle.

Unfortunately I can't give you a definite order yet, I'll know first week of January or there abouts.

Update : Had to give up on the fibreglass and have now bought genuine sills @ £136 each with BMW Car Club GB discount.

That's about the same as I paid for mine at the end of last year.
My old ones were original and 18 years old,so your new steel ones if prepped and painted well should last for another 18 years or so.

Oh, we're playing sill price top trumps... ;)

Last week I paid £254 from Cotswold BMW including shipping to Northern Ireland (not sure it that puts me in 1st of 2nd position)

Just got them back from body shop a few days ago and treated the back to a healthy coating of Por15 along with the same on the inner sills on the car..
Hopefully never see corrosion in this area again.

Is that the same colour as mine?

Nice! Apparently there are only 27 Fiji Green 2.8s in the UK (read it somewhere lol!).

I've been trying to get UK production numbers for Palmetto but can't get any solid info. I have a figure from BMW but already know of 1 more than they said existed.
